About Us

CREDO is a non-profit community organization founded in the early 1990’s.  We are recognized as the Economic Development Organization for the Village of Cuba and maintain a good standing and are supported by local, county and state government organizations. Our purpose is to assist and enhance the Cuba region to grow and develop into its full potential.  Over the years and continuing, we have initiated, assisted and supported many community activities, businesses and education.

What is CREDO doing?

• Encouraging, supporting and guiding new start-up businesses
• Addressing forestry needs and community safety through the Small Wood Opportunity Team (SWOT) by administering the clearing of a watershed area which is a critical wildfire target.
• Assist the Village of Cuba and the Cuba region to grow and develop into its full potential
• Collaborating with local, county, state and federal organizations to foster the development of a strong economic base in the Cuba region
• Assessing community needs and determining opportunities for growth and solutions
• Tracking and evaluating business retention and expansion in local businesses
• Providing training to improve business and employment skills
